The popular hiking trail to Earless Teapot Mountain (or Teapot Mountain / Wuerchahushan 無耳茶壺山) is near the famous town, Jinguashi (金瓜石), in northern Taiwan. It seems this short trail is also a renowned spot among international visitors from my impression. This hike can be done on your trip around Jiufen / Jinguashi.
The best thing to watch is the panorama unfolded along the trail. My only climb to this hill was done in 2008. I recall there was a steep section which needed a bit scrambling between or beside big rocks, not a very difficult climb, but this is just from old memory. Even you are not keen to be on the top, staying at one of the lookouts is great for enjoying the scenery too.
