About Qigu
Qigu (七股), Tainan, is well-known for the sun-dried sea salt, seafood and the lagoon. It is a famous scenic spot for the general public and photographers. My partner and I had a day trip there in 2012 while I lived in Shanhua (善化).
During that time navigation with a smartphone was not common; my partner had to hold a Garmin device used for hiking on the back seat of my scooter, figuring out the way before each turn. It took us some effort to get there.

Four persons in the photo were using a photography technique, “black card waving”, to reduce the amount of light from the brighter sky and sun entering the lens. So the sky part is not overexposed.
